Here at Innovative we value the safety of all our patients and staff. We will continue to update information as it becomes available and continue to follow CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19 protocol.

  • Innovative is open.
  • If you have a fever, chills, cough, or just don’t feel well, please do NOT come in.
  • If you have traveled abroad in the past month, strongly consider rescheduling your appointment to allow time to monitor your symptoms. You may require quarantine or testing-follow CDC and WHO guidelines.
  • We will employ even more stringent office cleaning protocols to ensure that our office facilities provide as safe an environment as possible.

As you have likely heard we are experiencing an outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID -19) in the United States. Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a (Novel) new virus that causes cold and respiratory illnesses that ranges from the common cold to pneumonia. Initially started in Wuhan, China and has found its way to Atlanta, GA.; more recently, Fulton County and potentially Cobb County. We would like to take this time to inform you of how the staff at Innovative will support you and your family during this time. Most importantly, we want to ensure you that the impact to our patient population has been low. However, to protect you and your family we have implemented the following;

CALL AHEAD/TRIAGE: We are asking if you have experienced fever, cough/respiratory symptoms, exposure to COVID-19 and/or international travel within the past 14 days to please call the office prior to your visit to reschedule your appointment.

NO WAITING ROOM/SINGLE ROOM:We have moved to a single-room format which means, we will limit your time in the waiting room upon arrival. You will be taken back into a room as quickly as possible.

E-VISITS/TELEMEDICINE: We are offering e-visits for certain types of visits such as discussion of results from ultrasound, biopsy, lab results, follow-ups to previous problem visits, post operative evaluations, problems such as abnormal bleeding, abnormal discharge, menopause or other hormonal concerns, initial fertility evaluation, contraception or other medication refills, urinary tract infection and pelvic pain to name a few.

Protect yourself and your loved ones. Discuss your concerns at a place and time of your choosing. Discrete, Confidential discussions with your personal health care providers. Great for Vaginal infections, bank bleeding, lab and sonogram results, f/u on fibroids,etc.

NO COPAY ON TELEMED VISITS!

It is my understanding that Aetna, Medicare do not cover such visits. Treatment can be initiated based on these telemedicine visits.

If additional exams or diagnostic tests are needed to complete our evaluation, we will schedule an appointment at one of our office or at an outpatient facility/hospital.
